CURRENTLY, THE GOVERNMENT spends around 3.8% of its GDP on education with FDI inflows at $31.22 million.   |   THE EDUCATION SECTOR BUDGET witnessed an increase of 12.3 per cent from Rs. 74,621 crores in 2013-14 to Rs. 83,771 crores in 2014-15.  |   THE SCHOOL EDUCATION BUDGET provides Rs. 33,601 crore which will improve access and quality of education across the sector benefiting nearly 23 crore children in schools.   |   VIRTUAL CLASSROOMS and MOOCs are planned to be set up for which a provision of Rs.100 crore has made in the 2014 Budget.
